The Diocese have invited the Parish to join Peterborough Cathedral in a fundraising event for mutual benefit. The event is being run on the same theme as the TV Antiques Roadshow, with ‘antiques’ donated by parishioners for the event.

Charles HansonCharles Hanson will be carrying out evaluations along with fellow experts on items not being donated for a cash donation.
Donated jewellery and small antiques will be auctioned at a later date by Hansons Auctioneers with proceeds divided equally between a Parish Church of ‘our’ choice and the Peterborough Cathedral.
The antiques event takes place at Peterborough Cathedral on Saturday 4th May 11.00am to 3.00 pm. Further information can be obtained from liz.hurst@peterborough-cathedral.org.uk or on 01733355315.
Lesley Smith (One Show and Bargain Hunt) will present a monologue on Friday 3rd May at 7.30 pm Peterborough Cathedral in Queen Elizabeth 1 costume to chat to attendees and pose for photos. Tickets are £10.00 for adults, children free. Tel: 01733452336 0r 01733355315 for tickets.
Arrangements can be made to donate ‘antique items’ without attending the event with the necessary paperwork and transportation arranged separately .
